These astrolabes are accurate for over 500 miles from their projection point and accurate for around 1000 years (future or past)
on the back of the astrolabe is a quick reference starmap that tells you the names of constellations and stars

With more experience it can be used for things like finding and plotting the positions of the planets/meteorites. Our astrolabes differ from normal planispheres since they show the Sun's position and are much more accurate since it is made for your area and therefore displays your local sky. Our astrolabes are also conveniently made to your time zone whereas mass produced planispheres are nearly always made in UT or GMT and have to be converted to your local time. Whatever your time zone, the astrolabe will be set to it - unless you ask us otherwise All Astrolabes are hand-crafted from thick, weatherproof, laminated card and acetate and are approx. 20 cm in diameter.

This Fridge-Henge is useful if you want to be aware of where you are in the cosmos and the rhythms and cycles of the Earth, our solar system and the universe at large There are two main parts: THE FRIDGE-HENGE Divided into the 13 zodiac constellations that all the Planets, Sun, and Moon pass through during the year, they are colour coded depending on the elements associated with that sign. The Oracle is just as amazing as the Fridge Henge. IIt has a magnetic holder that sticks it to the fridge allowing it to share its wisdom in two ways.
The Oracle-holder lines up with the front of the Oracle and tells you when and where to move the Planets, Sun and Moon around the Fridge-Henge.
When the Oracle is flipped over, you will find a starmap on the back. This calendar tells the moon phase , when there will be a meteor shower and is a handy planet-finder for the 5 brightest planets . You can find them using the starmap printed on the back or even easier, by using an astrolabe (see above). Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are among the brightest of the night-time objects so they're easy to spot once the calendar has told you where they can be found Planet positions for the month ahead can be found here
As you can see from the picture: Round the outer edge of the calendar are the dates when there will be a meteor shower . For example, on the calendar it shows you that the Orionids meteor shower can be seen during the last half of October Next in , are the Months, and then the Moon Phase - showing the date of New Moon, First Quarter, Full Moon and then the Third Quarter Then, underneath the Date are the names of the Constellations the first five Planets are travelling through . Mercury is the outside, then comes Venus , then Mars , next Jupiter and the inside ring is Saturn The grey shaded areas show when the planet goes 'retrograde' (e.g. 4th-28th July for Mercury), this just means it appears to be travelling backwards from the point of view of our (Earth's) orbit The calendar also tells you the Dates of the Equinoxes and Solstices

Biodynamic Calendar for 2009 - £5 This calendar has biodynamic moon position info as well as moon phase and planet positions for the whole of 2009
The circular biodynamic calendar is useful to people interested in or practising biodynamic gardening, nutrition, bee-keeping, wine making etc It tells the constellation the moon can be found in daily for the whole of 2009 The biodynamic calendar also tells you the time that the moon passes from one constellation to the next
Information from tropical zodiac astrologers ephemeris is misleading as it doesn't give an accurate indication of where the moon will be in the sky (it's about 1 constellation out) - this calendar tells you the EXACT OBSERVABLE POSITION as used in biodynamics

CONSTELLATION SKYLIGHT POSTERS - £10 sorry - SOLD OUT at the moment Put a nightime skylight in your bedroom - and always have clear skies These unobtrusive posters are 1M X 75cm and appear plain white, so they blend into your ceiling. Then at night, they give the appearance of having a sklight in your ceiling as they glow with luminous paint representing the stars of your favourite constellation. The longer you look at it, the more stars appear to come out. It doesn't have to be pitch black, they still work if there is some light in the room, so it is perfect for children - who suddenly want to go to bed early so they can watch the stars come out!
The posters give a fairly accurate representation of your chosen constellation and come with a small map that shows the stars being portrayed.
